DPDB meeting held in Dimapur, Mkg, Longleng

The monthly District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting for Dimapur District for the month of June was held at DC’s conference hall on Monday.
In the absence of the chairman, the meeting was chaired by vice chairman and deputy commissioner Dimapur Maongwati Aier.
According to an official bulletin, the agendas discussed in the meeting include proposal for purchase of plastic shredder HS-25 for district hospital by medical superintendent Dimapur, assistance for construction of link road to disabled welfare complex at Lingrijan, introduction of B.Ed courses at Asian College Sovima, opening of new Schools Shekinah Montessori School Chumukedima, upgradation of GPS Purana Bazar, Xuvihe Memorial School, Evershine School, River belt Colony, St.John School, Diphupar-B.
Altogether 24 Schools from Dimapur applied for grant in aid in the current financial year. The Board discussed the agendas and forwarded to the government for further approval.
MOKOKCHUNG: Monthly meeting of Mokokchung District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) for the month of June was held in the DC’s conference hall on Monday.
The meeting was presided over by deputy commissioner and vice chairman DPDB, Lithrongla G. Chishi.
According to an official bulletin, reviewing the minutes of the last meeting DC urged the roads and bridges department to give top priority for clearance and maintenance of roads and bridges, stating that major roads in the district were in bad shape with the onset of rainy season.
She also requested for adequate manpower to be put into service to ensure that vehicular traffic was not disturbed.
On maintenance of Mokokchung-Mariani Road, which was one of the major lifelines of the district, the DC requested the department to take up the matter with BRO for proper maintenance.
Expressing concern over poor banking services in Changtongya area the meeting felt a need to make arrangement to ensure that loans and subsidies to progressive entrepreneurs and farmers were readily available to the people of the area.
LONGLENG: The monthly Longleng DPDB meeting was held on Monday at the DC’s Conference hall under the chairmanship of vice-chairman DPDB and deputy commissioner Longleng, C.K Nihekhu Sema.
According to an official bulletin, the DC expressed happiness to all the officers for the cooperation in making the Longleng Road Show cum 58th Phom a success.
He appealed to all responsible departments under Longleng district to deposit their loan recovery sincerely to the SBI and also informed all government employees of Longleng district to compulsory open a bank account at State Bank of India.
