Taking serious note to its earlier memorandum and stand of ENPO/ENWO/ENSF submitted to state government regarding the NH 155 imbroglio, Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) reiterated that it would apprehend any fresh works allotted to the NSCU members.
According to the memorandum, the NSCU members were banned for taking up any contract/supply works in ENSF jurisdiction other than the on-going works.
ENSF in a joint press statement by its general secretary, Changsang Soted and vice-president, Likhumse Sangtam stated that the allotment of fresh works would be against federation’s demand as the issue was not solved appropriately.
Pointing out that allotment of works without prior negotiation/solving the issue/imbroglio within its jurisdiction would further worsen the issues, Federation stated that it will questioned state government or any department or authority allocating fresh works to NSCU registered contractors within its jurisdiction. It further reminded the state government and department responsible to adhere to federation’s memorandum till further notice.
