NPF party leaders tour Jangpetkong and Alongtaki

Parliamentary secretary for Housing, Labour & Employment, Er. T. Saku Aier along with NPF Mokokchung and central party workers and leaders toured 29th Jangpetkong and 30th Alongtaki constituencies on May 13 and 14.
The team held a meeting with Tsurangkong GHS teaching staffs and school managing board members reviewed the condition of the school building.
Taking into account the slow progress of new school building, the team resolved to approach the responsible department to take up the matter at the earliest for the welfare of students. A separate party meeting of the two constituencies was held on May 13 at the residence of 29th Jangpetkong A/C treasurer and deliberated on issues related to party activities and developmental works in the two constituencies.
The team also held a coordination meeting with heads of offices on May 14 at Mangkolemba and discussed non availability of officers in their stations and further resolved to keep a check on the attendance in offices in future while also requesting the responsible officer to make the record available for the public.
Further, the team visited Longnak, Changki valley where around 35 houses were destroyed by cyclonic storm besides uprooting many plantations on May 13 and donated Rs.30,000 as immediate cash relief to Changki Village Council chairman for distribution among affected victims.
