Commenting on the recent defection of its former 13 members to NSCN (I-M), the GPRN/NSCN today said that in any revolutionary organization there would be a section of people who would never grow up nor ever understand the “ground beneath their feet”.
Referring their reason for defecting as being the absence of political talks, the GPRN/NSCN, in a press note, said it also “clearly” suggested that they would rejoin its fold as soon as government of India and GPRN/NSCN began political talks.
Terming their defection as “a short term”, the GPRN/NSCN note opined they were “ too young and too immature” to understand political problem.
It said “these defectors” would not be expelled from its fold, since their return was imminent adding “and when that happens, Dy. MRA Kilonser, Iheshe would be making his fourth defection!”
It also said despite his (Iheshe) great effort to be assigned into “chaplee ministry”, he and his companions did not find their names in its latest ministry and secretariat reshuffle.
The press note said the “value of any man” was measured by his moral strength which entrenched him to stay committed to the given task.
Saying there was “little regret” for the departure of a group to Hebron camp,” it added “excuses are refuge for scoundrels.”
“Till their return to the main fold, they may be accommodated in the Chaplee Ministry by the concerned authorities at Hebron Camp,” the MIP underlined.
