CANSSEA Dimapur emergency meeting
DIMAPUR: The Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees Association (CANSSEA), Dimapur unit has convened an emergency meeting on May 24 at 11am at conference hall of Commissioner Taxes Dimapur. All the office bearers, executive members and advisory board members have been requested to attend the meeting.
Training for census officials in Kohima
DIMAPUR: DC Kohima, Beiu Angami has asked all officials appointed for census duty to perform their assigned duties, failing which they will attract penalties under relevant Sections of the Indian Penal Code. All supervisors/enumerators who have been called for training on May 24 and 26 are directed to report at assigned training locations. Further DC informed that supervisors/enumerators who are appointed for census duty will be paid allowances/honorarium as per rate fixed by central government.
RWDA meeting
DIMAPUR: Rotomi Welfare Dimapur Area (RWDA) has convened a meeting on May 22 at the residence of Er. Kheshito Chophi, welfare banker 4th mile at 10am.
LSBC to dissolve CRPO
DIMAPUR: The Land Settlement Board Chukitong (LSBC) has clarified that in a general meeting held on April 17 attended by chairmen, head GBs and elders of six villages of Chukitong range have unanimously resolved to dissolve CRPO for the larger interest of general public. In a press statement Nrichemo Kikon, chairman LSBC said the meeting convened by Wobemo Shitiri on May 22 is totally baseless and unfounded as CRPO has been already abolished by the general public of Chukitong range.

13 AR seize liquor along NH-61
DIMAPUR: 13 Assam Rifles troops has seized 15 cases of Kingfisher beer and 10 cases of Breezer (total 25 cases) from a vehicle coming from Dimapur and heading towards Kohima on NH 61 at Lal Matti road junction of Chiephobozou. According to a defence release, the seized liquor along with the vehicle and individual were handed over to Chiephobozou police station.
ANHTU on membership fee
KOHIMA: The All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union Kohima unit has requested all the comunitized and non-communitized schools to submit their annual membership fee of Rs.100 starting from the month of May. CBCK jubilee
KOHIMA: A pre-celebration golden jubilee of Chakhesang Baptist Church Kohima will be held on May 23 at 10 am at the local church, CBCK Kohima. The celebration will be held under the theme “The truth will set you free-John 8:32” with Dr. Ciekroveyi Cho-o, associate professor Oriental Theological Seminary Bade and Rev. Khrütsoyi Lürüo, state chaplain, NLA as the speakers.

DIMAPUR: The Duncan Basti Council (DBC) has informed the residents of Duncan Basti who have not yet registered their house to register and obtain the house serial number from M.Y. Ngullie, GB at the earliest.
Lost and found
DIMAPUR: The GPRN/NSCN, Naga Army finance department recovered a Pulsar 150CC black colour, registration number NL-07E, 3559, engine number DH GBNH 74411, chasis number MB 2D HDHZZNCH 36810 on May 20 at Golapani, Assam. In a press communiqué Lt. Col. Y.K. Zhimomi, finance committee member Naga Army has requested the rightful owner to claim the vehicle from the office by providing proper document or contact on 9856100566 within five days from the date of issue of information.
Supervisors training rescheduled
DIMAPUR: The training for enumerators and supervisors for conduct of census in Dimapur town scheduled from May 24 to 26 has been rescheduled from May 27 to 29 at Durga Mandir Kalibari road, Dimapur at 9am. Moangwati Aier, DC Dimapur and principal census officer has requested all the enumerators and supervisors to attend the training and further said failing which disciplinary action would be initiated against the defaulter as per the provision of census act and rules.
Model colony Sumi general meeting
DIMAPUR: The Sumi festival committee, Model colony, Purana Bazaar has convened a general meeting on May 23 at the residence of chairman Niuto Awomi, GB Purana Bazaar. All Sumi residents of Model colony both permanent and tenants have been requested to attend the meeting.
RASU meeting
DIMAPUR: There will be an emergency meeting of Ralan Area Students’ Union (RASU) on May 23 from 2pm at the residence of its union treasurer Thabemo, Lotha colony. All the RASU executive members, former leaders, elders and advisors have been requested to attend the meeting positively.
SVC informs
DIMAPUR: Shokhuvi Village Council (SVC) has informed that the land of K. Hetoyi village has been allotted by Shokhuvi village as K. Hetoyi village not being recognized till date and further informed all the land purchasers of K. Hetoyi village to abide by the rules and regulations of Shokhuvi village. Informing this in a press statement issued by Vilhoto Yeptho, chairman SVC also said failing to abide by the rules and regulations, the land of the defaulter would be seized.
YVSU apologizes
DIMAPUR: The Yimpang Village Students’ Union (YVSU) has apologized for the error with regard to the news item which appeared in gratitude note where Dr. Z Kikon should be read as Z. Kikon, joint director Agri-Kohima and Nchumbemo Enmy as Nchumbemo Enny, clerk Lotha Baptist Church Dimapur. Informing this in a press note issued by Lichumo Yanthan, president YVSU has also thanked Dr. R. Kikon, from Zion Hospital Dimapur for his immense contribution.
