The change of the nomenclature from Nagaland Peoples’ Front to Naga Peoples’ Front was done based on the wishes of the Naga people who are everywhere.

On the other hand, reacting to a query on the resignation of seven Naga MLAs in Manipur and the by-election which is due, the NPF youth leader said that it will claim the Naga share anywhere and everywhere. “The wishes of the people we’ll decide what’ll be our claim”.
Earlier, Treasurer NPF Phrenyumo who led the NPF teams consisting of the party Central Officials, Youth wings and Women wings with the relief materials to Kisama said that it was not that it is supporting any party but just to show their token of their love and to show their concern and the party, said NPF Treasurer Phrenyumo while addressing the media person soon after handing over the relief materials at Kisama today.
He however was quick to clarify that its not that the party is not supporting any party but just to show their token of love and concern from the party.
