The Chakhesang Baptist Church Council expressed its deepest gratitude to the directorate of geology and mining, for donating one tube well to the mission compound dwellers. The tube well was commissioned by S. K. Kenye, additional director, geology and mining on May 21.
The commissioning programme was chaired by E. Kikon, additional director, geology and mining.
Pastor Poyo Tunyi invoked God’s blessing and Rev. Vezopa Tetseo, Executive Secretary, CBCC expressed gratitude on behalf of the Council
S. K. Kenye gave a speech by quoting a saying, “Blessed is the man who draws water from his own well.”
E. Kikon gave his chairmanship remark that the tube well could give 70, 000 liters per day and its life may go up to 25 years.
The CBCC and its mission compound dwellers were overwhelmed with joy for the blessing that came through geology and mining department and have expressed its gratitude to all the officers and workers of the drilling unit for the hard labour and giving us a life line.
