Youth trained on masonry, painting

Three- day training on masonry and house painting on the theme ‘Work and live” at Tribal youth Hostel, Naga united village, Dimapur concluded Saturday. CBCC youth Secretary Vikuo Rhi in his introduction exhorted the youth to take up masonry and house painting training was it was meant to create jobs to young people especially Nagas.
Er. Vekho Swuro, Executive Engineer, CAWD, Nagaland, Kohima, who is also well known author of the twin Books called “Basic Mason Course and House Painting Course for Self-Employment challenged the youth to walk ahead and get self-employment job through masonry & house painting works. Er. Khuvoyi Vese presented paper on the topic ‘Basic skills in organising a construction workforce’. Rev. Dr. Dingu Kenye spoke on the topic “Work Culture – a Biblical perspective’. Practical sessions were one of the main objectives of the training which was imparted led by four members of Ruzazho Building & Construction Society.
During the practical session, a construction of dustbin for compose pit and a CC posts with bamboo reinforcement were empower. 41 trainees from thirteen Churches in Dimapur participated in the programme.
The programme was organised by CBCC youth Department with the sponsorship of state government.
