Asserting that their jobs were the “only lifeline” for their survival, the Aggrieved Teachers’ Association of Nagaland (ATAN) Tuesday pledged to stay united and stand against “any adversaries” who stood against them. ATAN, which conducted its units’ presidential meeting today in Dimapur, also resolved to abide by government guidelines as advised by state chief minister, a statement from ATAN executives said. The association also reaffirmed its full faith on the assurance provided by chief minister. Meanwhile, it has directed all aggrieved teachers to consult their respective units for show cause response. They also provided contact numbers – 8974157437, 9402008580 – of ATAN executives for any assistance.
