Training on passion fruit production technology

Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Nagaland University, Lumami conducted one-day training programme at Atoizu Town, Zunheboto district on June 18 on the topic ‘Production technology of passion fruit’.
The topic on ‘Value- added product of passion fruits’ was taken by Edenly Chishi, SMS, Horticulture, concept and formation of SHG by Kundan Kumar, SMS, Agril. extension and mushroom production and its applicability to the rural system by Dr. Rokovilie Mezhatsu, programme assistant.
Result demonstration on preparation of passion fruit squash and method and process of mushroom cultivation were also demonstrated to the farmers with participatory mode.
The target group of training, method demonstration and result demonstration were farm women specially member of Self Help Groups.
Chairperson of Zhukuchu Welfare Society Boholi K. Chishi and general secretary, Niholi V. Aye have expressed gratitude to KVK, NU Lumami.
