A free medical camp and health awareness program was organized by the Khumolozung Integrated Community Development Project (North East India Committee on Relief & Development) at Tseminyu Town Baptist Church on Thursday. Altogether 240 people availed the free health check up from Dr. Gwalozü Thong, Dr. Thomas Keppen and Dr. Tiyali assisted by 5 nurses.
Joseph Kent coordinator KICDP (NEICORD) gave an introduction of the camp while Dr. Thomas shared on awareness of health care. Dr. Thomas stressed on three different types of healings, faith healing, traditional healing and medicinal healing saying that everyone should differentiate this three types of healing.
Meanwhile, KICDP (NEICORD) Tseminyu extended gratitude to doctors and nurses who contributed their time and energy in helping the sick and needy people of the area.
