Rotary Club (RC) of Dimapur renovated a culvert on approach road leading to Rotary Centre at Midland Colony, Dimapur. The drain along the main road remained blocked for a long due to damaged hume pipe beneath the culvert.
The renovation works were executed on Monday and Tuesday. President, Rotary Club of Dimapur, NRC Niar who visited the work site with his colleague, GBs and council members of Midland stated that in the span of 12 months the Rotary Club had done nearly 48 different projects which include community service, vocational service and medical camps.
The Rotary Club is also contemplating to black top the road leading to the centre and the colony.
Meanwhile, Khehuto Zhimo, GB Midland, on behalf of the council and residents has expressed gratitude to Rotary Club president and his colleague for fulfilling the request made by council for renovation of culvert.
He also thanked the youth of Midland Colony for rendering service during the renovation of drain and culvert.
