YTC executive meeting deferred
TUENSANG: Emergency executive council meeting of Yimchungrü Tribal Council (YTC) has been postponed to June 18. All office bearer and executive council members have been asked to reach its head quarter Shamator on June 17.
KMC coordination meeting
KOHIMA: Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has convened a coordination meeting with director of Women Development, office bearers of Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers’ Union and Nagaland Voluntary Consumers Forum on June 15 at 11 am at the KMC conference hall. Therefore, the above mentioned organizations have been requested to attend the meeting.
DBWU combine service
DIMAPUR: Dimapur Baptist Women Union (DBWU) combine service would be held on June 11, 3 pm. All members have been requested to pray for 20th BWA Congress, Honolulu, Hawaii which would be held from July 28 to August 1.
KUS membership
KOHIMA: Kohima Unit Students’ Association of Wakching has informed its members to contact the following numbers- 9612430899, 9402282053, 9862768739, 9862765995 for details on membership and constitutional booklet collection. This was discussed during a meeting of the association held on June 7. Members also decided to organize a musical night at Wakching by the end of the year.
ENGOA executive meeting
KOHIMA: An executive meeting cum taking over charge ceremony of Eastern Nagaland Gazetted Officers’ Association (ENGOA) has been convened on June 12, 1 pm at DUDA guest house Kohima. All members of the association in Kohima have been informed to attend the meeting.
Royal Club meeting
DIMAPUR: A meeting of the Royal Club has been scheduled for June 11, 4:30 pm at the Club building, Kohima. All members have been requested to attend the meeting.
PSUK cleanliness drive
DIMAPUR: Pochury Students’ Union Kohima (PSUK) is organizing cleanliness drive on June 12 below Raj Bhavan (Tank Point). All Pochury students in Kohima have been requested to reach the venue by 8.30 am and to contact 9774415184 for necessary information.
RCYA (Mhainamtsi) meet
DIMAPUR: Rongmei Catholic youth Association Mhainamtsi (N) half yearly meet would be held on July 8.
AYO to tour northern Angami region
DIMAPUR: Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) as a part of its ‘Year of Social Networking’ programme would be touring Northern Angami region from June 12 to 25. AYO has earlier covered toured Western and Southern Angami region and interacted with youth organisations, village authority, NGOs and women groups in the villages.
Committee on subordinate meeting
DIMAPUR: The first meeting of Committee on Subordinate Legislation for consideration of memorandum number 1 of 2010 has been convened on June 11 at the Assembly committee room at 11am. All the members have been requested to attend the meeting.
DNST emergency general meeting
DIMAPUR: Dimapur Nokpu Senso Telongjem (DNST) has convened an emergency general meeting on June 12 at the residence of Lanu Longchar, treasurer, Bank Colony Dimapur at 9am.
SJP national executive meeting
DIMAPUR: National executive meeting of Socialist Janta Party (SJP) would be held on June 18 at Rashra Sava Dal office, Sani Guruji Bhawan Singh Garh Marg Parvati, Pune and 26 states would be attending the meeting. All district presidents have been requested to submit names of respective office bearers on or before June 14.
BVYO bans hunting, fishing
DIMAPUR: Benreu Village Youth Organisation (BVYO) has banned hunting, fishing, extraction of plants and other natural resources within the jurisdiction of Benreu village. The organization stated that Rs. 10,000 would be imposed as fine against the violators.
WRBU constituted
DIMAPUR: Wozhuro Ralan Block Union (WRBU) in a meeting held on May 18 constituted its office bearers and executive headed with L. Myingthungo Odyuo as president and Pankathung Lotha s general secretary. The selected union members extended gratitude to the public in general and asked their support and cooperation smooth functioning of the union.
AITT result
DIMAPUR: Result of 92nd All India Trade Test (AITT) for apprentices held in the month of April has been declared. Successful candidates’ are- Kohima- 01(R), Kohima-02 (R).
DIS Kiphire informs
DIMAPUR: Deputy Inspector of School Kiphire, Y Shahoto Yim has informed all the absentee teachers to collect their show cause notice before June 15 from DIS office.

DIMAPUR: Asuto Bokhu Kuqhakulu Dimapur general meeting has been postponed to June 19, 10 am at highway 39 Go-karting conference hall, Padumbukri.
HRA Dimapur district meeting
DIMAPUR: Hoteliers and restaurant association (HRA) Dimapur district has convened an emergency meeting on June 12, 3 pm at hotel saramati Dimapur. All proprietors, representatives and DMC (sanitation) health and family welfare department officials have been requested to attend the meeting.
Naga Idol 5.10 road show
DIMAPUR: First road show for Naga Idol 5.10 for ‘local district hero’ is would be organized in Wokha on June 12 by district partner old timers. Old Timers will organize the Road show at Mt. Tiyi College Colony at 9 a.m PWD Colony at 11:30 a.m, Government High School ground at 3 p.m and NST Colony at 5:30 p.m.
ZGC to form alumni association
DIMAPUR: All alumni of Zunheboto Government College (ZGC) have been informed to contact Alumni association convenor Kalito Chishi at 9436438539 for formation of alumni association with effect from the current academic session.
LSU joint meeting
KOHIMA: Longtsung Students Union (LSU) has convened a joint meeting on June 27, 10.30 am at Christian Model High School (Chapel Hall) Wokha for the forth coming Golden Jubilee celebration, 2010. All executives committees, former presidents, church leaders, public leaders, and senior students have been requested to attend the meeting positively.

DIMAPUR: Meeting of Tenyimi Peoples’ Organization Constituent Unit Presidents has been convened on June 15, 11 am at Conclave Conference Hall, LCS Building, near Ao Church Kohima.
