Three-week training on Chinese language (Mandarin) is being conducted by Missiological Research Centre (MRC), Dimapur with 21 students enrolled for the training. Resource persons are Chinese couple, Dr. Steve and Victoria Tsai.
According to Rev. Dr. Rabi Pame, principal MRC, the course is being offered for gospel mission purpose with focus to reach the Chinese speaking people with the gospel of Jesus Christ and the main emphasis is given on how to do conversation and the skill of communication in the street and market places.
Gospel songs, vocabularies and evangelism methods and skills are also being imparted. Further, among the students four of them have been confirmed to go to China on June 27 as full time ‘Cross- Cultural Missionaries’ and are being sent by Nagaland Missions Movement.
It may be mentioned that this is the second time MRC is organizing the Chinese language course and would continue to offer this every year.
