NSF rejects govt. job advertisement

Reiterating its earlier representation to state chief minister for total transparency in recruitment process arising out of Retirement Act 2009, the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) today said it would not comply with the recent state P&AR department advertisement till government conduct written examination beside interview for the departmental examination.
In a fresh representation to the state chief secretary, the NSF vice-president Sinhilo Thong and general secretary O.Wati Jamir also demanded the government to advertise all resultant vacancy in toto, including Garde-IV arising out of Retirement Act. NSF also urged upon the government to pursue the matter keeping in view the interest of the students’ community. In the event of non-compliance to its plea, the NSF said it would remain steadfast to its stand.
CCSU backs ENSF’s stand
Meanwhile, the confederation of Chang students’ union (CCSU) today came out strongly in support of ENSF’s move, which had issued four-day ultimatum to the state government, demanding cancellation and rectification of P&AR advertisement. In a release, the CCSU general secretary Changsang said the union would support ENSF in all their activities including agitation until their demands fulfilled on time.
