GPRN/NSCN kilo kilonser Hothrong Yimchunger, reaffirmed that whatever had been said by Kughalu Mulatonu GPRN/NSCN envoy to the collective leadership against the Naga Hoho and NSF, had been expressed at the meeting of the joint kilonsers meeting held in Khehoi designated camp on June 7.
Hothrong said today’s civil societies had not existed when the NNC was formed in 1946 to make “any positive or negative impact on the national struggle”.
Responding to the joint statement of the Naga Hoho and NSF issued against Mulatonu, he said the activities of these two bodies had “left every sensible Naga pointing out” that the two “have sold themselves to a particular faction.”
Further, he pointed out that there are more than 90 Naga tribes spread across all Naga areas in several states including Myanmar and the ENSF and ENPO “have more Naga tribal representatives than the Naga Hoho and NSF”. He said the Naga Hoho has only seven tribes and NSF only seven units. He asked whether the government of India would “appease 15% Nagas and leave 85% fuming?”
Hothrong also pointed out that during the chief ministers’ conference in New Delhi last year, Nagaland chief minister had declared that the NSCN(I-M) “was working hand in glove with the Indian Mujahiddins”. He said if the chief minister believed it, the Naga Hoho and NSF have “little to complain.”
He slammed the Naga Hoho and NSF for being “clearly inconsistent, wise in double talks, adept in changing tones every season.” He accused its leaders of “toeing the line of any political group they meet” and having miserably failed to act as peace brokers in the process”, with the sole exception of the FNR.
He said 13 years of “fruitless negotiations between IM and GoI, with fullest possible support of the Naga Hoho,NSF and NPMHR”stood testimony to the fact.
Hothrong therefore reiterated the GPRN/NSCN call to Nagas to “first identify the parasites what hide beneath the garments of the Naga Hoho, NSF and NPMHR” whose leaders, he said, “carrying out olive branches also carried acid bottles underneath, killing any hope for peace.” He accused the above named bodies with having “biased leadership engaging in biased diplomacy” adding it was the “bane of Nagas.”
