Indian Hills Camp introduces activities for VBS children

Christian education department, Thahekhu Baptist Church organized a Vacation Bible School (VBS) from July 5 to 10 on the theme, ‘My Good Earth’. The 5 day Vacation Bible School comprised of Scripture teachings, learning of songs, making new friends, sharing with friends, and labour for mission during the first three days according to the theme of the day.
Games and activities was lead by team of Indian Hills Camp from Leadership Training Centre, Siliguri. Many new games and activities were organized by the team who brought varieties of game toys and equipments which entertained the children as well as made them to learn and experience many new games.
Indian Hills Camp is a Children Ministry under Leadership Training Centre, Siliguri, which organizes various camps for the children in different parts of the North-east India and Himalayan region of India, Nepal, Bhutan and neigbouring countries.
The team was lead by Arun Fox, Co-ordinator of Indian Hills Camp, LTC Siliguri who had obtained training especially for Children’s Ministry from Santiago, USA. and Themring Chilhang, Evangelist, LTC Siliguri.VBS was declared open by Rev. Dr. Yehevi Jimo on the first day and Jelitoly Swu, presented a slide show and the lesson on the theme, ‘My Good Earth’.
The Children were made to plant the trees around the Church compound as a sign of pledge to make earth green. About 470 children attended the VBS with Khekabo V. Chishi as VBS Director. The VBS would culminate on July 11.
