Axis Bank to inaugurate ATM
Kohima: Kohima branch Axis Bank will be inaugurating its 3rd offsite ATM on July 16, 4 pm at Kohima village near Khedi Baptist Church, Kohima village with Dr. Shurhozelie, minister for urban development as the chief guest.
KSUD meeting
DIMAPUR: Khiamniungan Students’ Union Dimapur (KSUD) has convened an emergency meeting on July 16, 1.30pm at the residence of union treasurer, Lungoi, Circuit House Colony. All executive members of KSUD and representatives of colleges/higher secondary schools have been requested to attend the meeting.

OSU Wokha unit
DIMAPUR: Okotso Students’ Union has convened an emergency a meeting on July 17, 3 p.m at the residence of its general secretary Chumbenthung Ngullie, Etsutsuka colony. All office bearers, advisory board, elders of Okotso village and students from class 9 and above have been informed to attend the meeting.
Kohima DPDB meeting
DIMAPUR: Monthly meeting of Kohima District Planning & Development Board will be held on July 15, 12:30 p.m at DC’s Conference Hall. Additional Chief Secretary, Alemtemshi Jamir, IAS will be addressing the meeting. All members have been requested to attend the meeting.
DC Wokha convenes meeting
DIMAPUR: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Wokha, Rovilatuo Mor has convened a meeting on July 16, 11am at DC’s conference hall to chalk out programme for ensuing Independence Day celebration on August 15. All heads of department (HoDs), officers, institutions and NGOs have been requested to attend the meeting.
Free detox camp in Mokokchung
DIMAPUR: A ten-day free-detox camp for drug/alcohol users will be conducted at Care-Counseling Centre Mokokchung from July 15. The week-long free Detox Camp will be organised and sponsored by Care-Counseling Centre Mokokchung. DIMAPUR: Yaongyimchen Students’ Union (YSU) has convened a general meeting on July 16, 9: 30 a.m at the residence of union treasurer Signal Bosti, Dimapur. All students from class VIII and above have been informed to attend the meeting.

Kohima: Meeting of Kohima Law College office bearers has been convened on July 15 and 3rd general meeting of all students of Kohima Law College on July 16, 10.30 am. All students have been requested to come for the photo session for the annual college magazine on July 16.

Kohima: General meeting of Khezhakeno Students’ Union (KSU) has been convened on July 24 at Hotel Grandeur, Kohima from 10 am onward to discuss various core issues related to the union. All members, senior members, advisor and elders have been requested to attend the meeting.
PKR cleanliness drive
Kohima: PKR Students’ Union, H.Q Phenshünyu will be conducting a mass social work within its jurisdiction on July 17. Children’s day held at SBCPB
DIMAPUR: Sumi Baptist Church Purana Bazar (SBCPB) Dimapur Christian education department organized graduation cum children’s day on July 11 on the theme “children, you are truly blessed” with SBCPB associate pastor, Khetoi Shikhu as guest speaker. A total of 28 senior students graduated from Sunday school and special awards and certificates were presented to the students by Sunday school supervisor, Vitoni K. Chishi. SPCPB Sunday school teachers and supervisor have expressed gratitude to department board members, church staff and parents of the students who contributed in various ways towards the programme.
GPRN/NSCN recovers motorcycle
DIMAPUR: GPRN/NSCN has said that it has recovered a motorcycle bearing registration number NL - 07 E 5847 Hero Honda Splendor and chassis number 062ACF05472. GPRN/NSCN has asked the rightful owner to collect the motorcycle with proper documents from its town command by contacting mobile number 9856053187 within 10 days after which any claim regarding the motorcycle would not be entertained.
SBAK executive council meeting
DIMAPUR: Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu (SBAK) has convened an executive council meeting and center staff on July 22, 10 am at Anderson Heritage Building, Aizuto.
Gorkha Youth Club new team
DIMAPUR: Gorkha Youth Club Dimapur (GYCD) has elected new team of office bearers for the tenure of 2010-13. The 17 member team would be headed by Shibu Kumar BK as president and Roshan Bishwakama as general secretary.
Health camp held at Bhandari
DIMAPUR: Free medical health was held at government guest house Bhandari. The medical camp was assisted by five doctors including two local doctors and three from Guwahati. Sub DIC Bhandari NGO’s and chairman Elan also extended co-operation in success of the camp. SDPO Thumchobemo and Chichanyimo OC of Bhandari visited the camp and expressed satisfaction in conducting the camp where around 304 card holders were benefited. The chairman thanked ICICI Lombard officials’ co-coordinators and individuals for the success of the camp.
Children’s Camp held at Medziphema
DIMAPUR: Medziphema Lotha Baptist Church organzied children’s camp for the Sunday school children on July 6 under the theme “Come and Dine”. Altogether about 60 Sunday school students enrolled for the camp. Pastor Elithung Ezung, took the Bible study session dwelling on the theme and Bible story telling with motion pictures show for children was taken by N. Silent Ngullie. Painting, singing, fancy dress, Bible recitation competitions for both junior and senior class were held and prizes for each category were given away to the winners.
