Working days for Kohima offices
DIMAPUR: In view of the ensuing budget session due to commence from July 20 to 27 the government has decided that two intervening Saturdays i.e. July 17 and 24 shall be working days for offices in Kohima. This notification has been issued by Home department.
BPL food grains for Dimapur
DIMAPUR: Food and supplies department Dimapur has informed that BPL food grains for the month of July for Dimapur district has been released. Beneficiaries have been requested to collect it from respective fair price shops from July 22 to 24.
CCCRC prayer meeting
DIMAPUR: Three -day prayer meeting of Chakhesang community leaders would commence from July 16 at mission centre Chetheba. All state political leaders, national workers, religious leaders and society leaders have been requested to attend the prayer meeting.
JDU executive meeting
DIMAPUR: Janata Dal United Nagaland (JDU) state has convened a state level executive meeting on July 20, 2 pm at circuit house Dimapur. All executive members have been requested to attend the meeting.
KGSU meeting
DIMAPUR: Kuhuboto Ghakhu student union (KGSU) has convened a meeting on July 17, 11 am at Vihokhu village. All executive members, advisors, board members and elders have been requested to attend the meeting.
ZSUN plantation programme
DIMAPUR: Zeliangrong Students Union Nagaland (ZSUN) will have a plantation programme on July 17 at new district deadquarter, Peren. All presidents and secretaries of the respective units and subordinate units have been requested to attend the programme.

Monthly operation meeting
DIMAPUR: For better coordination and management of power generation and transmission system amongst the states, monthly operation and coordination meetings has been convened on July 16 at Hotel Japfu, Kohima. All member states of North East, including central sector power utilities such as NEEPCO, PGCIL and NHPC are expected to attend the meeting.
DSSU executive meeting
DIMAPUR: Executive meeting of Dimapur Sumi Students’ Union (DSSU) has been convened on July 17, 10 a.m at the residence of its banker, Nuton Basti Dimapur. All members have been informed to attend the meeting.
Office of chief engineer shifted
DIMAPUR: Office of chief engineer, irrigation & flood control, Kohima previously at Officer’s Hill, Kohima has been shifted to new office building at New Capital Complex, below Nagaland Civil Secretariat, Kohima with effect from July 8. Chief Engineer, I&FC, Er. Mezakrol has informed that all correspondence relating to the office are to be addressed as per the new address.
Discharge order
DIMAPUR: Office of Designated Camp (Khehoi) Naga army has discharged major Shekiye bearing A/No 17228, S/ son of Yeheshe, Atuphumi village of Sumi region on account of family problem.
RWDA meeting
DIMAPUR: General meeting of Rotomi Welfare Dimapur Area (RWDA) has been convened on July 17, 10 a.m at the residence of its Banker Kheshito Chophi.
DEO Kohima notifies
DIMAPUR: District education officer, Zaveyi Nyekha has informed all the schools both government and private under Kohima district that district level science seminar on the topic “India and world science: are we there?” would be held on August 27, 9:30 at Little Flower Higher Secondary School Kohima. Student up to class ten are eligible for participation and two best participants would be representing state level science seminar commencing on September 8.
TTO revenue collection
DIMAPUR: Enforctement wing under the charge of district transport officer Dimapur has collected government revenue of Rs 2, 34,150 by way of compounding fees during the month of May and June 2010. The compounding fees were collected during intermittent surprise checking conducted within Dimapur district.
WSBAK meeting
DIMAPUR: Meeting of Western Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu (WSBAK) youth executive, planning board and convenors has been convened on July 17, 10 a.m at WSBAK Akuvuto. Members have been informed to present the proposal of budget at Akuvuto for 27th annual session –cum- triennial conference of NBCC on October 21023, 2011 to be hosted by WSBAK. All planning board, youth executive and head department WSBAK, committee board chairman, conveners have been informed to attend the meeting.
