Rotarians’ ‘Heart to Heart’ project

Under the initiation of Rotary Club, a ‘Heart to Heart’ project is being undertaken where children from age 0-2 years suffering form congenital heart disease could undergo operation free of cost, to be sponsored by Rotary Club.
Patients will be sent to Premier Institutes such as Escort Hospital, National Heart Hospital, Max Hospital, Pushpanjali Hospital in Delhi. Informing this during 8th installation of Rotary club Kohima held on July 14 at Kohima, the Rotary Club stated that any patient suffering from ‘Hole in the Heart’ could contact their Rotary Presidents at 9436006256 (Mokokchung), 9436003034 (Dimapur) and 9436005129 (Kohima).
Chairman NKVIB, Dr Nicky Kire who was the chief guest at the programme, called upon the Rotarians to increase in size and continue to be a support to the society. Guest of honour, Rtn. Pradeep Jain (RFSM), Assistant Governor and Rtn. Dr. Kezevituo Keditsu highlighted the “Heart to Heart” various projects by the club .Dr. Kevi Medikhrii, was inducted as new member of the Club. The new team of the Rotary for 2010-2011 is headed by Rtn. Dr- Toshevi Keditsu as President, President elect- Rtn Kezhokhoto Savi, Vice President- Rtn. Theja Meru, Rtn. Impalong Longkumer, Rtn. Kedozeto, General Secretary-Robert Khuvung, Jt secy- Rtn Khrieketoulie, Treasurer- Rtn. Dr. Neilavinuo Solo, Sergeon at arms-Rtn Dr. Viketoulie Pienyu. Board of Directors includes, Director Community Services- Rtn Mechiemvii Ritse, Director Club Services- Rtn. Neisatuo Mero, Director International Services- Dr. Kezevituo Keditsu and Director Vocational Services- Rtn. Tokishe Sumi.
