The Baptist Pastor’s Fellowship Dimapur (BPFD) has expressed upright support to NBCC’s stand on liquor prohibition stating the Act came into existence after much deliberation and prayer.
Secretary, BPFD, Rev. Dr. Weyiete Lohe, stated that liquor has not only destroyed the base of Naga society physically, mentally, morally, spiritually besides breaking down the social and economic integrity as a whole but also diminished and disvalued leadership qualities.
He said the Prohibition Act had drastically lowered down vehicular accidents and crimes in the state land and went on to add that people who feel affection for the nation and the young generation would not go against NBCC’s stand, but strongly support it.
