Kohima DPDB meeting held

Monthly Kohima DPDB meeting was held on July 15 at DC’s Conference Hall under the chairmanship of Chairman, Kohima DPDB and Advisor IT&TE, MLA Vikho-o Yhoshü.
The board approved grant-in-aid to three private schools namely, City King School, Phezhu Jotsoma; Christian Mission School Sechu, Zubza and Baptist School, Khuzama to be recommended to the authority in charge. EAC Kezocha, Zeneikhono gave a detail report on DPDB village visitation undertaken to Sakhapama village under her convenor ship. While appreciating the village visitation undertaken by various DPDB committees Chairman NKVIB, MLA Dr. Nicky Kire called upon all officers to be responsive and participate in such programme for the benefit of one and all.
The meeting also discussed on importance of implementation and rainwater harvesting, DC, Bei-u Angami suggested that all district officers undertake rainwater harvesting with the capacity of at least 20,000 liters which should be funded by respective department. ADC Planning, Ketoho Luho informed that house on verification of at least five successful LADP Scheme under each constituency to be carried out by core committee.
