MLA Y.Hewoto Awomi: MLA Y. Hewoto Awomi and his family members have expressed shock at the sudden demise of Yekhezhe Awomi. Hewoto remembered Yekhezhe as a man of hard working, sincere and dedicated who contributed for the area people and welfare of the society and that his demise was an irreparable loss for the family members and to the Sumi community. Hewoto also conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that Almighty God grant solace and strength to bear the loss.
CASU: Chare area student union (CASU) has mourned the sudden demise of Rev Tali, father in law of LT Sangtam, OSD to chief minister (PA) Kohima on July 18. The union expressed condolence to the bereaved family.
