All Nagaland Aggrieved Adhoc Teachers’ Association (ANAATA) has demanded the SIT to remove “doubtful” category from the bogus teachers’ list and produce confirmation report to the association at the earliest. Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, ANAATA members stated that association would be forwarding a representation to SIT to clear the issue within 30 days from date of submission of the representation.
The association said no teacher under “doubtful” category should be placed under bogus teachers’ appointment list except on grounds of submission of fake education certificate. Association members also stated that “doubtful” adhoc teachers in the bogus list were “mentally traumatized” and their position was being threatened.
Mentioning some of their plight, the ANAATA members also pointed out that education department was the only department where adhoc appointees were still taking the 4th pay revision of the RoP. They said there was no basic provision to enhance their pay in written form. In this regard, association has requested the government to consider that their pay be revised like other departments.
Though adhoc employee should be regularized after three years of service; association maintained that such order was not followed.
