DC Longleng C.K Nihekhu Sema has clarified that the postponement of the scheduled meeting at Lushei valley Anaki (C) for finalization of border dispute between Mokokchung-Longleng district July 12 was held in consultation with additional chief secretary and commissioner Nagaland and DC Mokokchung to avoid law and order problem due to “un invited gathering of people from both districts”.
He also clarified that the visit of DC Mokokchung to Yonglok area on July 13 was carried out under the directive of additional chief secretary and commissioner Nagaland, and that he abstained from visiting the area since he did not receive any directive from additional chief secretary and commissioner Nagaland.
He also stated that the visit of DC Mokokchung to Yonglok was far beyond the inter district boundary line, and may have infuriated the villagers.
While stating that the Longleng distict administration and Buranamsang, Tamlu, Shemnyüching villagers have been appealing for restoring justice with regard to the boundary line between the two districts, DC Longleng added that anyone attempting to twist truth and justice would be twisting the will of God.
