AR organises medical camp at Tuileng

22 GRENADIERS under the aegis of 26 Sector Assam Rifles organised a Medical Camp at Tuileng village in Chandel District of south Manipur.
Approximately three hundred twenty five villagers from three border villages namely New Bangmol Tampak, Tuileng, Bokkan and from neighboring villages of Myanmar turned up for the medical check up, stated a defence release.
Condoms were also distributed along with the medicines to the locals.
A lecture on “Maintenance of Health and Hygiene during Monsoon” was taken by Capt SK Choudhary, Regimental Medical Officer of 22 GRENADIERS for the villagers.
In the end, games for children were also organised and the children participated with enthusiasm in the three leg race, lemon race and musical chair.
Meanwhile, the villagers have expressed their immense gratitude to the security forces for continuing the same vein after “Operation Milap” for the return of normalcy to the erstwhile strife prone area.
