OBA first executive meeting

First executive meeting of the newly nominated Old Boys Association (OBA) (Sainik School Imphal) Nagaland was held on July 3 at Dimapur under presidentship of Er. Kevisa Kense where different issues pertaining to the welfare of the association and betterment of society were discussed. The executive members present shared their views and suggested many innovative ideas. The house resolved to take some of the agendas discussed to the annual general body meeting scheduled on October 17.
Executive members had acknowledged the technical difficulties regarding the raffle draw in the last annual general meeting at Naithu Resort which was postponed till date. Members also decided to conduct draw in the next annual general meeting.
Members selected and nominated the district executive members with Kohima-Khekiho & Kethosetuo
Dimapur-Er.Atovi and Apre K.Mero, Mokokchung-Limaba, Mon- -Yangba Konyak, Longleng- Dr.Longai, Peren- Ramdeu Zeliang, Wokha- Micheal Yanthan, Zunheboto- Dr.Aron & Kieyelu, Phek-Kolvi & Khrietsoe, Kiphiri- Er.Huska, Tuensang- Dr.Lhouvi Belho, and senior advisors include R.B.Thong, IAS, Medokul Sophie, Ex-MLA and Er.Hutovi.
Further, members on behalf of the Association have thanked chief minister Neiphiu Rio for bringing back one of its member Mhombemo Patton, IA&AS.
Meanwhile, Old Boys Association (Sainik School Imphal) has appointed ex-cadets to look after the Welfare of the Association for the period 2010-2011.
Members of ex-cadets include President-Kevisa, vice-presidents- Mhabemo and Limatoshi, general secretary Deepak, Joint Secretaries-Kekru and Toshi, Treasurer-Ato, Press Secretary-Zubemo, Statistic Secretary-Liyanth.All bonafide members have been requested to contact ex-cadets for information pertaining to the Association.
