TANSA cancels agitation
DIMAPUR: Reacting to positive response by Development Authority of Nagaland (DAN) to negotiate rent hike, Tenants Association Naga Shopping Arcade (TANSA) Dimapur Monday called off its proposed agitation to maintain “shutters down” in entire Super Market Complex on July 6. Informing this in a press release, TANSA president, Hutoshe Awomi also requested tenants of Super Market Complex to prepare for forthcoming negotiations. Further, association cautioned if DAN failed to negotiate or accept its demands, TANSA would take further course of action without notice.
CCFZ membership renewal
DIMAPUR: Concerned Citizens’ Forum Zunheboto (CCFZ) has informed its members to renew membership before July 31 so as to induct the members in various Sub-Committees during the upcoming Nagaland State Road show. CCFZ chairman, Y.Vihoshe Muru stated that the forum has been gearing up to organize the roadshow as entrusted by DPDB Zunheboto. The forum in its general meeting held on July 3 also inducted additional office bearers along with the present incumbents. The inducted members included Howoto Chishi, finance secretary, Hekuto Jimo as joint secretary and Khehovi Jimo as information secretary.
Dimensions to launch franchisee
DIMAPUR: Dimensions Institute for Education & Research (DIER) would launch its first franchisee in the state on July 10, 10 am at Wokha centre. Dimensions – School of Phonetics & Spoken English would be run by Lolanbeni, a former student of Dimensions. Dimensions would also launch its centre at Naharbari in August.
L. Yanthung village elects new team
DIMAPUR: New team of L. Yanthung village office bearers were elected for the tenure of three years (2010-210). The handing and taking over of the new team would be held on July 12, 11 a.m at L. Yanthung village community hall. The new team included Renbemo Odyuo GB ad-hoc chairman, Mhathung Lotha as village secretary and Nungothung Lotha as Gram Rozgar Shayak (GRS) secretary. According to the GB the new team have been empowered to function all official matter within the ambit of the village and authorized to operate and maintain all account matters.
