ATAN resolves to be ‘obedient’

ATAN has resolved to remain an “obedient and loyal servant” in line with their profession as a teacher.
It, however, cautioned any association or political parties not to underestimate its unity and strength sating that it was only through its unity and strength that gave the teachers confidence to follow all the government guidelines up to date and not because they were at fault.
“We appreciate the government’s exercise of weeding out the tares but reminded not to weed out the grains,” ATAN executives said in a statement.
Meanwhile, ATAN has informed all its members inclusive of all the district units to submit their contribution of Rs.300 per member at ISBT, Purana Bazaar, Dimapur on August 9 and 10 from 10 a.m to 4 p.m.
ATAN said it was compulsory for its members to submit the contribution individually as there were documents that have to be signed.
