ANSTA Chozuba meet
KOHIMA: The All Nagaland School Teachers’ Association (ANSTA) Chozuba unit has convened its general meeting on August 6 at 10 am at EBRC conference hall Chozuba. All the institution representatives have been requested to attend the meting.
DEO welfare association meet
DIMAPUR: DEO welfare association Dimapur has convened a meeting on August 3 at its office premises. Strong action will be taken to those absentees’ teachers, informed association secretary Vitoho Chophy.
BSGMSSU hails government decision
DIMAPUR: The Boulder, Sand Gravel, Metal Stone Supply Union (BSGMSSU) Dimapur hailed the decision of the government not to allow collection of ‘Naga commission’ in interest of the public. The union also lauded Dimapur Chamber of Commerce for strongly standing up to oppose the ‘Naga commission’.
Aichisaghemi community meeting
DIMAPUR: A consultative meeting on affairs pertaining to Aichisaghemi village has been convened at Dimapur the residence of former minister Kiyezhe Aye at Darogapathar on August 7 from 9 am. All the units of Kohima, Zunheboto, Naltoqa and Suruhuto have been informed to send ten members each to participate in the meeting without fail.
Midterm meeting of NCRC Sumi
DIMAPUR: A midterm meeting of Nagaland Christian Revival Church Sumi council will be held at its Pughoboto hq prayer centre from August 13-14. All the council members, executives, women and youth department, mission department, Living Bible college, Ayinato and pastor fellowship NCRC Sumi have been informed to reach the venue by 3 pm on August 13 without fail.
NPF women wing 6 Tening A/C meeting
DIMAPUR: An executive meeting of NPF women wing 6 Tening A/C will be held on August 6 from 10 am at the residence of its president. All office bearers and executive members have been requested to attend the meeting without fail.
ANMR & BAA emergency meet
KOHIMA: The All Nagaland Meter Reader and Bill Assistant Association (ANMR & BAA) has convened an emergency executive meeting on August 19 at the JBC Building, PWD Junction near Power House, Kohima. The association secretary, Moa T Jamir has requested all zonal office bearers to attend the meeting along with the detail number of Meter Reader and Bill Assistant (both regular and work charge), detail number of consumers or electrical division separately for industry, commercial and domestic consumers and under their respective zonal division and also yearly membership fee of Rs.100 from each member.
Kohima DPDB meet re-fixed on Aug 5
DIMAPUR: In view of the submission of the LADP schemes for the year 2010-11 to the Planning & Coordination Department before August 11, the monthly meeting of the Board has been re-fixed on August 5, 12.30 pm in the conference hall of the deputy commissioner, Kohima to finalise the schemes. The elected members of the district have been requested to submit their schemes and also to attend the meeting.
EUUN to conduct training
KOHIMA: The Educated Unemployed Union Nagaland (EUUN) would be conducting training programme on fruits juice/squash/pickle making, meat processing/pickle making, fish processing/canning/pickles making, maize/oats processing/candle making, washing soap making, ceramic making, toys making, sweets/candy making and cobbler/shoe making (assembled only). Interested educated unemployed have been requested to submit their names to (i) EUUN HQ Opp. Census Office, Rokabozou, H.S Road, Kohima and (II) Correspondence office, Co-ordination committee Dimapur (CCD), EUUN. Opp. JK Hospital Railway Gate, Burma camp, Dimapur.
Business establishment in Kma informed
KOHIMA: In view of the forthcoming Independence Day celebration on August 15, all shops/institution/establishments /agencies etc., within the jurisdiction of Kohima Municipality have been requested to clean/paint/white wash the front side of the building and shops facing the roadside on or before on August 10, to face-lift the capital city of Nagaland. The authority also requested them to hoist the national flag on the top/front of their shops and buildings by 6am on August 15 on the occasion Independence Day, adding that the National flag would be available for purchase at Khadi Gram Udgog Near BOC below Hotel Japfu , Kohima. Actions would be taken against defaulters as per the law, stated the release.
Aqahuto area GBs union meeting
DIMAPUR: The Aqahuto Area GBs union (ATKK) has convened a meeting on August 7, 9 am at A K Industrial village. All the area GBs, village council chairmen, AAPU members, public leaders and official from Area sports association, student body association, mother’s association and STH have been requested to attend the meeting.
Kma to observe Renewable Energy Day
DIMAPUR: The department of New & Renewable Energy informed all schools and colleges under Kohima district that the Rajiv Gandhi Akshay Urja Divas- Renewable Energy Day would be observed on August 20. Further, on that day, a Renewable Energy Run will be held from 7 am from Badminton stadium to Local ground, followed by essay & painting competition (senior and junior level). For further details, the schools and colleges have been informed to contact the New & Renewable Energy office located at Old Industries building (ground floor) near Martyr park or Tometh Konyak at 9436011954. The department also added that as per the directives from the central ministry, unlike other years the day will be observed only in Kohima. However, the celebration will be organized in other district headquarters in rotational basis.
Ex-UG khellers meeting
DIMAPUR: A meeting of all former-underground khellers has been convened at the residence of council chairman T L Angami on August 11 from 11 am to discuss certain matters to the case pending in the court.
AYO presidential council meeting
DIMAPUR: The first presidential council meeting of Angami youth organization has convened on August 7, 10 am at Ura Academy Hall, mission compound Kohima. AYO informs that all the regional and village unit presidents to attend the meeting.
CCC informs public, schools
DIMAPUR: Chiephobozou central council (CCC) has informed every citizens, head of departments, staffs, school institutions, that there would be a general social work in view of Independence Day at Chiephobozou town.
PAPO developmental and awareness program
DIMAPUR: The Phek area public organization in collaboration with the administration, would be conducting a co-ordination cum developmental activities awareness programme on August 5, 10 am at EAC headquarter, Khuza, with Agri and allied department. All the villagers under Tizu belt have been requested to attend the meeting.
