Notes of gratitude

DXU: Dimapur Xuivi Union (DXU) has congratulated former DMC Ward No. 5 member, Kuhoi Zhimo on being appointed as president of Dimapur Sumi Council. DXU also extended gratitude to all Sumi citizens of Dimapur for having faith in him and for electing him to the post. Union further expressed hope that Kuhoi Zhimo would lead the people in the right path and also discharge his duties with great responsibility.
GHS Chare: Government High School (GHS) Chare has expressed gratitude to PHC Chare town for distributing first aid kits to students on July 29. The school expressed hope that such kind of medical camps would be conducted in the near future as well. Meanwhile, GHS Chare further extended gratitude to JNV Chare principal for providing four plastic chairs to the school.
KRPC: Kachari Rajbari preservation committee (Kachari tribal hoho) Dimapur, has expressed gratitude to all the Kachari GBs, Chairman and general public for their cooperation during social work held on July 20 at Kachari Rajbari Dimapur. The committee further expresses gratitude to the forest department for their supply of sapling and plantation on July 24 at Kachari Rajbari and Dimapur district administration for providing security measures and Nagaland Olympic Association for their cooperation in commemoration of X1Xth commonwealth games queen’s baton relay.
NSV: Sangsomong and New Sangsomong village under Longkhim area has expressed gratitude to G Kaito Aye, Minister PWD (R&B) and Shetoi MLA for constructing road between Shurohoto to Yangli. The council further expresses gratitude to Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister for the developmental activities taking place within its jurisdiction. The two villages assured that cooperation would be given until the work are completed and also appeals to all the neighboring villages to extend cooperation for the development of the area.
VDB association: VDB association RD Block Tseminyu has expressed gratitude to DRDA department for organizing VDB refresher seminar for village functionaries at Tseminyu on July 28. The association particularly appreciates ADC Tseminyu, EAC Tseminyu, Project Director DRDA Kohima, Programme officer DRDA Kohima, Branch Manager SBI Tseminyu, BDOs Kohima, Chiephobozou and Jakhama Block, for sensitizing and refreshing the village functionaries in development activities, under MGNREGA programme.
TCWS: Terangpuna Cultural and Weaving Society (TCWS) has thanked 69 Engineering Regiment Rangapahar commanding officer and personnel for constructing building for training purposes at Terangpuna Cultural Weaving and Knitting Vocational Training Centre, Jalukie town. Society acknowledged the contribution and expressed hope that the regiment would continue to work for the upliftment of the public.
KSU: Kyong Students’ Union (KSU) has expressed gratitude to minister for agriculture, Dr. Chumben Murry for providing financial assistance under BRGF 2008-09 towards development of KSU Martyrs Park at Wokha town. While appreciating the minister his contributions, union also assured cooperation to all elected representatives of Wokha district in developmental activities for town beautification and the betterment of the district
NVC: Ndunglwa Village Council (NVC) has expressed gratitude to state chief minister Neiphiu Rio, minister for school education Neiwang Konyak and SSA mission director Angau I. Thou for appointing teachers at the lone SSA run school in Peren district. A press release issued by NVC chairman, Kiheilung also appreciated Angau I. Thou for initiating developmental activities in the field of education at the district and further expressed hope that she would continue to serve the people with sincerity.
PVC: Phiro Village Council (PVC) has appreciated all those who contributed towards installation of water supply under ARWSP, which was inaugurated on July 31 by Mhondamo Ovung as chief guest. PVC extended appreciation to the chief guest; PHED Kohima SE-11, K. K. Rengma; former EE PHED Wokha, C. R. Sangtam; PHED SDO Wokha, V. Sumi; all JEs of PHED Wokha division; EAC Wozhuro, Renbeni Ngullie; individuals of Phiro and neighboring villages; and Tesophenyu village for providing main water source free of cost from its area. Meanwhile, PVC and WATSAN committee has congratulated Er. Mhondamo Ovung on being promoted to the post of PHED chief engineer.
