Puchotso Kintso Club from Nagaland with NYKS Kohima attended a seven day long state level National Integration Camp (NIC) held at Puranigudam Nagaon Assam from July 22-28. The camp was organized by Dristi Foundation, Puranigudam in collaboration with NYK Nagaon and sponsored by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
Altogether 80 participants from different North eastern states of the country including Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Sikkim and four teams from the state of Assam participated.
Deputy commissioner of Nagaon, Manish Thakur was the chief guest of the inaugural function, while Dhananjay, ACT NYK Nagaon graced the valedictory function.
The Nagaland cultural troupe, represented by six youths from Puchotso Kintso Club from Kidima village, participated in various seminars and activities like physical training and yoga, community work, language learning, cultural rally, AIDS and Today’s youth, etc. In the competition events, Vidukho Kintso and his group bagged the first position in group discussion,
Pukil Kintso bagged fourth position in the elocution competition under the topic ‘role of youth in National integration”, Kekrovil Pucho, Pukil Kintsom Vidukho Kintso bagged fourth position in quiz competition while Kekrovil Pucho led the cultural troupe during the cultural exchange programme.
Meanwhile, Puchotso Kintso Club Kidima expressed gratitude to NYK Kohima particularly John Makhabo, DYC Kohima and Ruokuovikho Chale, ACT Kohima for their support.
