TKK literary campaign
DIMAPUR: The Tenyidie Kephrümia Krotho (TKK) would be organizing a one day literary campaign seminar on August 7 at Baptist Theological College, Pfutsero from 9am. The students of Tenyidie of Kohima and Pfutsero, public leaders and church leaders of Pfutsero have been invited to attend the programme.Resource persons of the seminar include Dr. D. Kuolie HoD, Tenyidie department of Nagaland University, Z.M Sekhose, president, Tenyimi Peoples Organisation and Keduolhoulie Belho, lecturer, Kohima Kohima College.
Tsieramia Khriesarüü Krotho social work
DIMAPUR: Tsieramia Khriesarüü Krotho, L. Khel, Kohima Village has organized a social work on August 7. All members of the Krotho within the age group of 15 to 50 years have been informed to report at T.M. Govt. High School at 9am.
Training on management of poultry
DIMAPUR: One day training on management of poultry, piggery and rabbitry for all selected beneficiaries of Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY) 2009-10 for Mokokchung district would be held at Veterinary hospital Yimyu, Mokokchung on August 10. Selected beneficiaries have been informed to attend the training and to submit two recent passport size photographs to district office on or before August 10.
SUPCC emergency meeting
DIMAPUR: Students’ Union of Public College of Commerce (SUPCC) has convened an emergency meeting on August 6, 11am at SUPCC office.
DIMAPUR: Don Bosco Alumni Dimapur Unit (DBADU) has convened a meeting on August 6 at NIIT Dimapur centre, near SD Jain Girls College at 5pm. All the members as well as past pupils of any Don Bosco institute and past pupils of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Dimapur have been requested to attend the meeting.
DSSU general meeting
DIMAPUR: Dimapur Sumi Students’ Union (DSSU) general meeting to be held on August 7 has been rescheduled on August 9, 2pm at the residence of union banker, Notun Bosti. All the executive members and all higher secondary schools, colleges and colony representatives of the union have been requested to attend the meeting.
DIMAPUR: Xukhepu Ghami Kuposhukulu Dimapur (XGKD) has convened a meeting on August 7 at the residence of Hekato Zhimomi, Valley View colony at 2pm.
DIMAPUR: A meeting of Lotisa Mapulu Union Dimapur (LMUD) has been convened on August 6, 4 pm at the residence of Khevito Chophy (T.O), chairman project committee. All project committee members have been informed to attend meeting.
Scholarship for TGOUN students
DIMAPUR: Global Open University Nagaland (TGOUN) has informed all its eligible students of to collect scholarship for the year 2009-2010 from the University campus during office hours as scheduled, from August 8 to 14 for TGOUN Kohima Campus and from August 16 to 21 for TGOUN Dimapur Campus. Director of the University Imotemsu Ao has informed that students may authorize parents/guardian to collect the scholarship on their behalf by producing an authorization letter and attested copy of student ID card.

KOHIMA: Synergy Group Enterprise (SGE), co-organizers for Kohima for ‘Nagas Got Talent’ organized by Pheto Music Association (PMA) informed that voting cards and tickets for road show would be available in the following outlet: Synergy Group Enterprise (SGE) main office Middle Bayavü hill near CANSSEA office building, Season’s café, CK Arcade, opposite Head Post office Kohima and Blue Xotic, Keditsu Building, PR hill. The voting would start from August 5 to 25. Meanwhile, the Road Show for Kohima would start on August 19 at state Academy hall, Kohima. The ticket for road show is priced at Rs.100 (admit two).
PWDWA Phek supports ANPWDFWA
DIMAPUR: Phek unit of PWD (R&B) Work charge Association (PWDWA) has expressed its support for All Nagaland PWD Field Workers’ Association (ANPWDFWA) general body resolution. A joint press release issued by unit president, Punezo and general secretary, Thenuvehu stated that the proposed reduction of wage rates of work charged and casual employees commission was a “deliberate discrimination” and justice would be sought in any forum.
