Directives to Mon businessmen

ADC Mon & Administrator, Mon Town Council, Sarah R. Ritse has informed public to adhere to guidelines and norms in running business in the interest of public service and maintenance of peaceful atmosphere in Mon town.
All shops are directed to use standardized weight scale; bag of rice to be sold only after weighing in the scale; MRP printed goods should be sold at printed price; expired medicines and other food items not be sold to public; healthy cattle, pigs and chickens should be sold in the slaughter houses to be duly checked by veterinary & A.H department; rotten fishes should not be sold and dry fish should be kept inside covered boxes; restaurants and tea stalls should also be kept need and clean.
Surprise checking would be conducted by authority for inspection from time to time. Shops and business institution have been informed to put up sign boards with tube lights and shop permit holders would be responsible for keeping their vicinity neat and clean. It further informed public not to let cattle roam freely within the town.
