AVC: Asukika Village Council (AVC) has mourned the demise of Sukhalu Swu of Ghokimi village on August 2. In a condolence message Asukika village G.B cum council chairman, V. Hetoi Swu stated that late Sukhalu Swu was an encouragement for many and further salute him for all his contributions towards the people of Ghokimi village, Asukika area, Sumi Aphuyemi (Pughoboto) Sumis and the Nagas in general. The council further expressed condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
NCPF: Nagaland College Principals’ Forum (NCPF) has mourned the demise of Prof. I. Yanger, first vice chancellor of Nagaland University. The forum stated in a condolence message that late Yanger was a torch bearer for ‘the dawn’ of higher education in the sta te who among others architected the NU during ‘difficult times’. Forum conveyed condolences to the bereaved family a nd prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
ETSU: Emlo-To Students’ Union (ETSU) has mourned the demise of Hotoshe Ayemi of Sukomi village who passed away on August 3. Stating that late Hotoshe was a hardworking, sincere and dedicated person who contributed immensely to the union, ETSU conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
ANUTNA: All Nagaland Unemployed Trained Nurses Association (ANUTNA) has expressed grief over the demise over Dziesetuonuo Dominica, who passed away on August 6. Association expressed its condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
