NPF central team visits Tizit

A team of NPF central and frontal office bearers let by secretary general visited Tizit in Mon District on August 9. The office of the NPF 41 Tizit assembly constituency was also inaugurated with the secretary general NPF Central, K.G. Kenye as chief guest attended party workers, leaders, including the A/C MLA Aloh Wangham and former MLA Tingkap.
Chief Guest congratulated party workers on opening 41 Tizit A/C NPF office and expressed hope that the office would serve as a means to strengthen the party and appealed the office bearers to work hard, maintaining healthy relation and harmony.
Recalling the founding members and stalwarts of the party, Kenye reminded how the regional party with the ‘Cock’ symbol, had strived (as a political party) to promote Peace for all round growth and welfare of the people, safeguarding the culture and identity of the Nagas and expounded how the party with its nomenclature - ‘Naga People’s Front’ has been growing from strength to strength with the people’s participation and support and that today, there are Active and Primary members of the NPF in all the 1600 villages of Nagaland; with positive potentials of establishing its units in other states as well.
NPF press bureau in a press release stated that with state chief minister Neiphiu Rio and NPF president Dr Shürhozelie Liezetsü and all other members of DAN in office, people reposed their faith and elected the DAN government for a second consecutive term to power; thus DAN during its tenure in office for seven and years now, “have done much more than what the Congress in Nagaland could do in their more than ten years rule”.
Secretary general on the ongoing “Indo-Naga” peace process said DAN government as a facilitator would continue to work with sincerity and transparency to help bring about a solution acceptable to all, the said.
Aloh, MLA and former MLA Tingkap, 41 Tizit A/c in their speeches requested NPF central team to take the plight of grass root people of Tizit to government for special consideration in all developmental requisites. Working President, NPF Women wing Bano, vice presidents T.L. Merry, Er T.L. Semdhok, Lepshi Ao, general secretaries, Basu Damani, T. Shuya also exhorted the party workers.
