NCRC, PR Hill Kohima prayer centre for Nagaland observed its 32nd Church foundation day on August 8 with Zakieviü Kechü, Women Chairperson and Krosal Neikha, deacon as the main speaker. Hovikrol Neikha, visiting Pastor chaired the programme.
Zakieviü Kechü shared the words of God from the book of gospel John 1:1 and 16:13. Highlighting the Church history, Krosal stated that the first worship started on August 8, 1978 with four members and added that church had more than 1000 members. The construction of the church building started with Rs. 6,000 only in 1985 and completed with the total cost of Rs. 4.35. lakhs in 1987.
During the special service one minute silent was observed in remembrance of Lt. Vitsulie Sale, the first local pastor.
Other highlights included, invocation by Akozho Richa, scripture reading by Nothuhole and Khriezetuoü and special song by the CYE choir.
