Plea to enhance pay for LDA, UDA

The employees of under deputy commissioner, office Wokha have appealed to the authority to enhance grade pay for district administration ministerial employees particularly during 6th ROP.
A representation signed by 18 employees highlighted the workload rendered by LDA and UDS in addition to daily volumes of assigned duties. It stated that every four years a preliminary preparation duties for NLA Election was unavoidable for the employees in any consequences, every five years NLA election was mass incase of by election and every ten years National Population Register Census process also took place. As such, the district administration ministerial employees were to be a part of it without any negligence as desired by the competent authority, the release added. The employees also expressed that often, for being the district parent office, the work load was uncountable and unlimited round the clock even in the days of National holiday and that they were compelled to do in the interest of public service besides over time duties.
In this regard, the employees appealed to the 6th ROP pay anomalies committee in pursuance to the government notification on March 25, 2010 to examine the genuine plea and rectify the earlier revised pay bands for LDA, UDA to the next higher scale of pay taken into consideration on the valuable services rendered by them. The release further appealed LDA, UDA employees to come forward and raise voices for the common welfare in the days to come.
