TTWU acts tough on bootleggers

Tuli Town Ward Union (TTWU) in its executive meeting held on August 8, discussed issues relating to liquor keeping in mind that Tuli being the nearest town from Assam, liquor could be easily transported to all the corners of the state and its citizens involved bootlegging.
According to chairman, Tuli Town Ward Union, Molungba Yaden, and secretary, Alem Aier, union would be checking houses of bootleggers any time and if found guilty, he/she would be imposed “huge fine”, house would be “dismantled immediately” and would not be allowed to live in Tuli town.
Further, the union said vehicles transporting banned items would be imposed “huge fine” and would be “burnt to ashes”.
It has therefore requested all the government agencies, NGOs and citizens to support and cooperate with the Tuli Town Ward Union.
