ENWO focus on women development

Continuing with its mission -to uplift the economic status of women, the Eastern Naga Women Organization (ENWO) established in 2008, has been carrying out activities for women mostly students, educated unemployed and school drop-outs.
The organization on Friday successfully conducted six-month training on beautification course that was undertaken by Reflection Beauty Parlor, Dimapur. Six girls from Eastern region completed the training and were awarded a certificate at a simple function held at PWD Rental Housing Complex, Dimapur.
The certificates were given away by Kherila Jangen, vice-president ENWO.
Managing director Reflection Beauty Parlor, Pangersenla Longchar challenged the trainees who completed the course, to skillfully use their talent and wisdom to uplift the economic status not only for their benefit but for the society as wall.
Vice president ENWO, Manlei Konyak delivered the exhortation while Sentila Paira proprietor of the hostel chaired the programme.
The vote of thanks was delivered by trainee Moasangla.
It may be noted that the trainees were trained for free, including food and lodging. Earlier, the organization had conducted training courses on music-cum-computer, cutting, tailoring and handicraft.
Altogether the ENWO has sponsored 60 girls in this kind of training courses.
