Department of Management Studies, Nagaland University which has been regularly sending out encouraging news in the form of various activities to enhance the managerial skills of MBA students enrolled in the department finally started showing result. The head of department, L. Dorendro Singh who is also the placement coordinator stated that department had sent students for two months summer internships to various reputed companies outside Nagaland and has been able to get many of its first batch MBA students placed in reputed companies.
The release stated that companies that recruited the first batch MBA students included Bharati Airtel, Birla Sun Life, Axis Bank, Kerg International, Coca Cola India etc., where most of these recruits were in managerial position as assistant manager, agency manager, rural sales officer etc.
He informed that MBA students would be organizing a business quiz competition with a prize money of Rs.30,000 on August 23. He also informed that second batch students also successfully underwent two months summer internship in Indian Oil Corporation, NEEPCO, Amul, Eureka Forbes and Eaton Power.
