Zunheboto medical staff plea to CMO
DIMAPUR: Medical staff of Zunheboto have appealed to chief medical officer (CMO) Zunheboto to disburse their salaries. A press release issued by ministerial staff, pharmacists and nurses under the establishment of chief medical officer Zunheboto stated that the staffs were facing hardship as they had not received their salaries for three months. It pointed out that being government employees, their salary was the main source of income without which, they were left suffering, including their school-going children. In this regard, the staff urged the chief medical officer to look into the matter and redress their grievances.
ANCSU asserts unity among members
DIMAPUR: All Nagaland College Students Union (ANCSU) asserted that the union was united under one banner since its inception in 1979. Informing that it has 42 secular and 11 theological colleges under its umbrella, the union justified that it collects Rs 10 from every college student which is judiciously used for the welfare of its members and also appealed to all secular colleges for cooperation in carrying out various activities, service and collection of membership fee.
Medial camp held
KOHIMA: A free Medical Camp was held at Nerhema on August 13 under the theme “Health and Nutrition Day”. The Programme was jointly organized by Nerhema Village Council, VDB and Community Health Committee. Dr. Thenuohezo SMO Chiephobozou along with his team consisting of four doctors, technicians and NSACS carried out medical check up for the needy patients of the Village. More than 150 patients participated in the camp and were provided free medicines. Meanwhile, Nerhema Village Council expressed gratitude to Dr. Thenuohezo and all his team members for their contribution and service towards the villagers.
