Army donates computer sets to GPS Ao Kashiram

Continuing its developmental works under Op Sadbhavana, 69 Engineers of 3 crops handed over two extension rooms and 5 computer sets to Government Primary School (GPS) Ao Kashiram, on Friday. The two rooms were formally inaugurated by Commandant, 24 Assam Rifles, Col. Navin Sud in presence of 69 Engineers CO Col. Ashish Gupta, Lt Col P H Reddy and other officials.
Addressing the gathering, Col. Navin Sud in his speech lauded the efforts of the 69 Engineers in providing the accommodation and stressed on the importance of computer education in the life of a student. He also suggested obtaining an internet connection for the computers so that the students can benefit from it.
Earlier, VCC Saku Kichu in his welcome address expressed gratitude to 69 Engineers for constructing the two rooms and donating the computer sets to the school. While the vote of thanks was delivered by teacher in-charge of the school, Amongla. A special number was also presented by the students of the school.
