Nagaland Aggrieved Adhoc Teachers’ Association (ANAATA) has reiterated its stand on removal of “doubtful” category from the bogus teachers’ list. In an emailed statement, ANAATA president, Hekiye H. Liriki said the association while acknowledging the efforts of SIT members, empathized with its members being affected with sense of insecurity on social, employment, economic levels. It stated that the word “doubtful” which indicated uncertainty, insecurity etc, if perceived on the minds of the 1085 teachers listed in doubtful category of the SIT report, would create mental trauma and might affect efficiency and performance levels while discharging duties. Association president further said that in consideration of those factors, it would be in the “best interest” of the SIT, affected teachers and student community if “doubtful tag” was removed at the earliest.
