4th NAP Battalion receives first ATM

The 4th NAP Battalion, Thizama on Wednesday became the first police battalion in the state to get State Bank of India, ATM.
The ATM was formally inaugurated by L. Singsit, IPS, Special Secretary Home.
In his address, L. Singsit said it was a privilege and honour to have an ATM set up in a police battalion and thanked the SBI for the initiative. He also hoped the SBI would come forward to set-up more ATM counters in the rest of the battalion headquarters across the state.
In his short speech, RK Garg, Chief General Manager (CGM), SBI Guwahati said the opening of ATM would not only help the police battalion, but also Thizama village and neighboring areas to access the service.
He also said the SBI was looking forward to provide better banking services to the people.
Earlier the function was chaired by Vekhosa Kotso, deputy commandant and Joseph Hesso, Commandant, 4th NAP Battalion proposed the vote of thanks.
