Two unidentified bodies recovered

Dimapur police today recovered unidentified bodies of two males from different locations in Dimapur.
In the first incident, the body of a man was recovered on the bank of Chathe River, below the truss bridge, near CIHSR.
Dimapur East Police Station officials said a team of police was immediately rushed to the spot and recovered the body of a non-local male, aged around 45, in the morning around 7 a.m. after receiving telephonic information.
After conducting all legal formalities, the body was forwarded to District hospital, Dimapur for postmortem, police said. The body has been kept at hospital mortuary for identification.
Meanwhile, another body, also of a non-local male, was recovered from Vedima village jungle Saturday evening, police said.
The body has been kept at civil hospital mortuary for identification.
