United Sangtam Likhum Bumji(USLB) has informed the Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation (ENPO) that it stood by the standing government order which restrained holding of any type of conference, convention or public gathering at Pungro town “till the land ownership dispute is settled”. USLB vice president L.Horangse Sangtam, in a letter, reminded ENPO of its resolution No 2 at Tuensang on July 31,2010 agreeing to permit the state government to hold the Road Show at Pungro.USLB said according, the state government had issued instructions to go ahead with the programme. USLB further reminded ENPO (erstwhile TMPO) that it could not hold its general session for the same reason at Pungro. In lieu of the dispute, ULSB has urged the ENPO to withdraw its resolution No 2 within August 3,2010 failing which the USLB will not be responsible for any untoward incident and that any eventual crisis arising out as a consequence will be solely the responsibility of the ENPO.
