JVC appeals govt to maintain Jotsoma by pass road

Jotsoma village council along with G.Bs and Jotsoma youth organisation visited Jotsoma by pass road and regulated traffic on the August 27. The three bodies suggested that there should be a strict timing for up and down vehicles and no special treatment for VIPs and security personnel be allowed.
Stating that at present there were only nine Police personal (1 ASI, 4 NP, 4 HG) manning the traffic regulation, the council, GBs and youth organisation said government should deploy sufficient police personal to control the traffic especially at the points where vehicles could not cross each other.
The three bodies also assured that in due time, the villagers would continue to help police in controlling the traffic. Also observing that BRTF had deputed only seven laborers for the road without any machinery, the village had requested BRTF and government to maintain the road. Jotsoma village council informed that it has decided to repair the road, if the authorities failed to repair it and has sought cooperation from the people.
Meanwhile, Jotsoma village council has thanked minister for health & family welfare Kuzholuzo Nienu, deputy chairman, state planning board Neiba Kronu, MLA, Former PCC President K.V. Pusa, Thenucho, former home minister, parliamentary secretary, chief secretary, traffic DSP who personally supervised the traffic movement.
