The organisation informed that reactions, grievances and suggestions of the people for a healthier city has been compiled and submitted to KMC administrative officer and expressed hope that authority would thoroughly examine the matter and take affirmative action wherever possible.
AWO informed that upon request by the government it had intervened in Kohima Super Market imbroglio and for which AWO thanked the super market traders union for willingly agreeing and withdrawing their case from the court in the larger interest of the public and thus paving the way for construction of a new complex.
AWO also appealed to the public of Kohima for their co-operation and ward Panchayats, district administration and KMC to jointly take up programs in a new spirit to make a cleaner, safer and better Kohima.
