Effort on to achieve total sanitation

Mokokchung sanitation campaign rally, organized by Watsu Mungdang under sponsorship of Communication and Capacity Development CCDU of PHE department was held at Mokokchung Town Hall Friday. The rally focused on improving cleanliness drive in towns and villages and instilling a psychological compulsion in the minds of the people to make cleanliness a habit. Addressing the rally, leaders from Ao Senden, Ao Students Conference, Mokokchung Town Municipal Council and All Ward Chairmen of Mokokchung Town called for concerted effort to achieve total sanitation in the near future. Ao Students Conference President Bendang Aier, in his address insisted to provide proper toilet and urinal facilities in all schools and colleges (both government and private) saying many schools are without proper sanitation facilities.
Obangla (Retired Head Mistress of Dilong Government High School) who was the resource person at the rally dwelt at length on philosophy behind sanitation campaign in the state and called upon all sections of people to join hands in its campaign to achieve the goal of 100 per cent sanitation coverage of towns and villages in the future.
